We’ve been familiar with live probiotic bacteria for a long time. Many years of laboratory work on the microbiome and probiotics have resulted in the dream of creating innovative probiotic cosmetics.
We decided to put them into practice by creating the MOLIV brand.

She gained professional experience in clinical, pharmaceutical, and research and development laboratories. She is passionate about the human microbiome and the author of numerous publications for the cosmetics industry.

Biotechnologist

Biotechnologist. She completed her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Medicine, Jagiellonian University Medical College in Krakow. She is the author of numerous scientific publications and presentations. She developed her professional experience in a microbiology laboratory, participating in clinical trials and analyzing cosmetics and dietary supplements.

Quality Assurance Expert

A Master of Science in Commodity Science, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) auditor, and quality expert in the cosmetics industry, she gained professional experience in various areas related to quality control and assurance, working in a microbiology laboratory, a product certification body, and in the manufacturing industry.

How did we create MOLIV?

Choosing the right bacterial strain
The use of probiotic strains from the Lactobacillus genus in MOLIV cosmetics is no accident. They have health-promoting effects on the skin, proven in numerous scientific studies. Live probiotics complement the skin’s microbiome, help the skin maintain proper moisture and pH, strengthen the skin’s protective barrier, and support its immunity.
Selection of appropriate natural raw materials
The combination of 3P technology—prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics—in one cosmetic ensures rapid and effective action. The skin’s microbiome is properly nourished, replenished, and regenerated, providing better skin protection. Additionally, carefully selected natural oils, mild preservatives, and plant-based active ingredients leave skin well-nourished, radiant, and vibrant.
Choice of packaging technology
Airless packaging prevents direct contact of the cosmetic with the external environment. This significantly extends its shelf life, eliminating the need for strong preservatives. It also positively impacts the viability of probiotic bacteria. The packaging consists of two parts: probiotic and cream. Thanks to the use of modern emulsifiers, the two components easily mix after dispensing onto the skin.
Experimental trials
The innovative cosmetics from the Polish brand Moliv are the result of the experience of three female scientists. Two years of intensive work and laboratory research were conducted. The cosmetics were tested under the strict supervision of a dermatologist, using application and instrumental tests.
